Why Russian girls look for partners abroad?

The reason why Russian women try to find husbands abroad is because they cannot find a man in their own country. According to the statistics, there are only about 88 men for 100 women. However, any Slavic woman has a need to get married and have a family; otherwise she will not be happy. As there are not enough men in Russia and Ukraine, some ladies use search for a partner abroad as an option. In Russia and Ukraine it is typical that children stay with their mother after the divorce and never with their father. They do not see their children not because the mothers do not allow but because they do not want to. If a woman is looking for a husband abroad, it is very likely that the father of her child does not mind.

Do Russian ladies smile and laugh often or very little?

Russian people have a great sense of humor, and it helps them to live in their country, with an unstable economy and imperfect government policies. They try not to complain much, so they laugh at things they do not like. However, even though most Russians are very warm people, they do not smile in the streets very often, and it is not common to smile to strangers. Humor is also a little different, as Russians prefer very fine jokes, and do not usually laugh with others while telling them.

Why does it take so long for Russian ladies to answer letters? Why do some of them refuse to correspond at e-mails?

It is not very difficult to find your way in Ukraine. Many foreigners who could speak neither Russian nor Ukrainian managed to travel around the country on their own and never got lost. Still, if you do get lost, Ukrainians are very nice and helpful people, they will help you to find your way. However you might have to ask a couple people before you find one who speaks good English.

Do Russian ladies appreciate Christian values?

Yes, they do appreciate Christian moral values, although most Russians do not talk much about religion, and many do not follow some Christian traditions in their everyday lives. However, Russian women for marriage are very adaptive and kind, so it will not be a problem for the lady to accept her husband’s lifestyle, go to church with him, and follow the traditions he likes.
